Talligent’s OpenBook charm now available in the Juju Charm Store

Talligent, a member of Canonical’s Charm Partner Programme, has successfully completed its first charmed solution, OpenBook v2.5, which is now available in the Juju Charm Store.  OpenBook reliably solves the customer lifecycle of onboarding, self-service, and cloud billing or charge-back with minimal manual intervention. Using Juju Charms, enterprises and service providers can deploy and integrate OpenBook in minutes in their OpenStack cloud and start providing IaaS to their customers.

Sanjay Mishra, CoFounder and Chief Architect of Talligent says; “We are excited to be Canonical’s first charmed OpenStack billing partner. The use of Juju and charms dramatically simplifies the deployment of our OpenBook solution, giving cloud architects easy access to a management solution that fills in key gaps of the OpenStack platform.”

Maarten Ectors, VP of Cloud Strategy at Canonical says “Open Book is a substantial addition to our growing Open Stack and Juju ecosystems. This is our first Open Stack billing solution, and we are thrilled to have it available at jujucharms.com.”

OpenBook by Talligent allows customers to differentiate and monetise their cloud services with flexible billing/chargeback, improve management visibility with intuitive reporting of infrastructure costs, and decrease response times with self-service access.
